In response to Nike's focus on translating first-tier cleat designs to their SCCRX Collection, Adidas has created the X 16.1 Court and Cage. The first street/turf specific iteration of the Adidas X 16.1 features the same one-piece upper with a flexible TPU coating for extra durability and zero break-in time. A Techfit collar extends around the ankle for improved fit, and an integrated lacing system provides more support through the mid-foot.

The rubberized soleplate on the Court iteration provides traction on hard surfaces, and an aggressive turf stud configuration on the Cage will prevent slippage on artificial turf.
